I have cystic fibrosis so I’m a professional patient since birth. I don’t actually believe most doctors are sadist, maybe a good chunk of surgeons though… I think it’s more that med school is its own sort of brain washing, the worship of protocol and deep seated beliefs of the quality of their knowledge churns out doctors who have been through the ringer and can become self righteous because of it, it’s incredibly rigorous, you’re sleep deprived, you’re being fed knowledge for hours and hours a day… it makes you incredibly susceptible to accepting knowledge without question. A lot of them need to believe what their doing is humane, is correct, that thier knowledge is valid so it justifies their whatever is happening and their knowledge also already told them how much this hurts, they don’t get knowledge from patients just information.

The way doctors are trained is a huge part of the problem, the way patient care is approached is just as bad, it goes back to academia as well, most studies do not include women in any capacity so their experiences are not reflected in the knowledge doctors do have. I think most doctors are normal people with good and bad traits and approach medicine in the way they were taught to, medicine as an institution simply does not value the experience of the patient, only the outcome of the treatment on the physical body, as if the mind, where pain happens to happen, is divorced from the body.

I’ve literally never heard anyone say this and I have dozens of friends over the years dealing with these things. Like something punching through your cervix is the equivalent of being kicked so hard you balls go up into your abdominal cavity

Legalized weed makes everything safer, crime goes down, people are dealing with addiction less, drinking even goes down, all of these things are terrible for the police

But if that was an accomplishment for you they deserve to be celebrated! I think people challenging themselves in meaningful ways not just flashy attention grabbing ways is arguably more impressive. Another persons success or achievement doesn’t detract from your own

I live in the PNW, it’s like nature conjures up rain clouds to place directly over any campsite. People here act like the rain makes it better and will tell you to bring your own blue skies, a blue tarp to hang over all your stuff

Very common cult tactic to this day

There’s no reason to believe those changes aren’t needed to work more effectively though, especially if it’s trying to be classified as an ADHD medication. Changing one molecule really can fundamentally change a drug, if it’s the right molecule changed the right way, it’s not inherently a cash grab, there’s not enough info here about the chemistry and its applications to make that call

I would like to know but I don’t consider it vital, my spouse is autistic and he considers it to be vital to how he functions.

Him living in a town of 202 people in the Deep South while homeschooling his kids and living in deep poverty is a pretty solid indicator too but he could just as easily be an ultra libertarian or sovereign citizen nut too

I found this in a public park near a railroad track, it was the only one like it, I made some very good wishes, let’s hope they come true.

I have two more pics of other angles before I made my wishes and
