Less than what the Nazis got, with all the knowledge and history about Nazis at their fingertips, and with their ancestors having fought Nazis. Disgusting, pathetic, losers.

Fuck me, it gets worse.
While simple, bold statements and timelines can act as a rallying cry, the reality is that it is more complicated than that. Last year Tony explained that our analysts argue that “there is only a remote chance of a significant direct attack or invasion by Russia on the UK”. “Remote” in this context, still means an up to 5 per cent risk, and that only refers to the UK. The world’s largest crowd-sourced forecasting site, Metaculus, suggests there is a 16% probability Russia and any NATO member state are in direct conflict before 2027.
Metaculus is an American reputation-based, massive online prediction solicitation and aggregation engine.[1] One of the focuses of Metaculus is predicting the timing, nature and impact of scientific and technological advances and breakthroughs.[2][3]

It's a fucking crowd source guessing machine. Clearly ChatGPT pulled it into his speech as a source because why the fuck would anyone of his supposed stature regard crowd sourced data on such a topic as relevant or accurate?
I messaged the admin of the instance but they've not posted anything in 3 months so I don't know if they're even still active. Hopefully they fix it!
Those who know me and Tony will know that we have different styles, but on many matters of substance and philosophy we agree. So while the Whatsapp messages will definitely be shorter and there’ll be fewer of them, there is much of his work that I will continue.
As I prepared for tonight, I studied Tony’s lectures and those of his predecessors. ChatGPT and CoPilot helped speed up the process. There is definitely a formula! A manifesto is often the first lecture in the series and then context – whether it is Covid, an integrated review or war in Ukraine – context drives the content.
I'm sorry, what?
WhatsApp, ChatGPT, and CoPilot being used by Chief of Defense? I know we're a vassal state of the USA but at least attempt to have some form of independence.
If he wants us to step up he can fucking start himself by not relying on American corporate tech for matters of defence.
I sometimes fear that
people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress
worn by grotesques and monsters
as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.
Fascism arrives as your friend.
It will restore your honour,
make you feel proud,
protect your house,
give you a job,
clean up the neighbourhood,
remind you of how great you once were,
clear out the venal and the corrupt,
remove anything you feel is unlike you...
It doesn't walk in saying,
"Our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

Just because it has the word learn in it doesn't mean it's educating. It's purposefully written in an obtuse manner to complain and denigrate, not educate.
Y'all need to learn that describing diagnoses by their symptoms isn't necessarily better or helpful.
Y'all need to learn that psychology is a science which has only recently been getting it's time in the limelight and you shouldn't be offended by its terms becoming more common knowledge.
Y'all need to learn that your pet peeves don't dictate how others must communicate.
Y'all need to learn that if misuse of language annoys you then educate rather than denigrate is always a better approach.
Nothing in the issues section screams as particularly odious to me...
I thought 9/11 was largely believed to happen because the USA is an imperialist warmongering shit causing mass suffering around the world and this was a response to that? Albeit, a terrible response, creating mass suffering to tackle mass suffering, but a response nonetheless.
Agencies either being incapable or incompetent to share information is perhaps how it happened, but not why it happened.
Do we know why Aquila refused?

That sounds like a similar system to what the UK introduced after WW2. It was scrapped in most of the country in the 1970s for the downsides you've mentioned.
I never had to do it, but instead had to study why it was scrapped. I'm surprised it's still a common system in highly developed countries such as France!
