Better yet, just don't connect your TV to the Internet, and use a separate device to watch your content.

Yes, the same principles still apply there, but TV makers long term support had generally been horrible, only adding more and more ads and privacy leeching stuff after purchase.

I haven't used it in years, but I just logged in to check my feed.

Despite what lemmy keeps telling me, I didn't see a single racist tweet.

Turns out that, since you pick who to follow, you get what you sign up for. In my case, a lot of privacy advocates, developers and journalists.

Keep jerking that circle, people.

For writing, I personally prefer Sonnet.
But the best thing is, I use openrouter.ai - that way I have access to dozens of models, including those of openai, at the same pricing scheme of their own apis.

Hook it up to a self hosted openweb-ui instance, and I can switch models on the fly. Best of all worlds.

In a blog post released on Monday, VP of Privacy Sandbox Anthony Chavez said that Google is “proposing an updated approach that elevates user choice” by allowing users to select whether or not they want to enable cookies on Chrome and adjust that choice “at any time.”

“Instead of deprecating third-party cookies, we would introduce a new experience in Chrome that lets people make an informed choice that applies across their web browsing,” Chavez wrote.
