I mean, a 10th gen i3 sounds great for a NAS to me, and last I knew TrueNAS doesn't support BIG.little architectures like many 12th and all 13th gen Intel CPUs anyway if you do go down that road. So I'd probably do the former unless if you can sell that box for enough to match the price difference

What are you using the GPU for?
How much storage are you looking at?
I've been trying to recommend Z1 for up to four drive arrays and Z2 for five to eight.
And no need to mirror your boot drive.
