It's funny to me that it's socialist oriented spending, which in relation is a drop in a bucket, is so controversial but everything else is okay. It is not even funny how huge the disparity is. But yeah, it is such a no-go to do good things... man, the gymnastics involved to reach that level of thinking are so stupid, it should be comical
For anyone wanting to get to the let's play without wading through that ad infested excuse of a website:
Think King Geoffrey from Game of Thrones for example. There are people hating the actors guts because of his role in a series.

The fun part is accomplishing that but somehow forgetting all the stuff you learned down the line.
The reason why he charges does not matter at all. Anyone wanting a service for free is not in the position to demand anything. Would it be nice to get stuff for free? Sure! But demanding free service and badmouthing if you don't get it? Fuck off.
That sounds wonderful. I often fantasize about living on a mountain side in a cottage with a porch where I sit with my wife on a crisp morning, just enjoying the sun rise, a coffee and the comfort of being in the moment with my closet ally on earth.
I wish I had the money to do that someday.
I congratulate you and your wife to make a dream come true. I believe, if you long so much and can make it happen, it will be worth it and it is something to work for.
