I absolutely see the benefits of having AI for those reasons. But like you say, it needs to know way too much to accomplish this and as long as AI is owned by already data hungry corporations then I don't feel comfortable using AI for personal use. And some may not care about privacy, but there are many people who simply do not know the risks involved in allowing AI to have this kind of access.

I see your point, but the argument could be made that instead of having to have Artificial Intelligence built into your product for that reason, you could just make your product less complicated..

Am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of having AI built into my phone. Seems very dystopian to me

Social Media. The platforms built originally to keep us connected and able to share knowledge with one another instantaneously. Has now been hijacked by corporations and governments as a method of controlling us.

Hey everyone, my name is Bob.

Nowadays it seems as if every program/application is either closed source, has intrusive advertisements/trackers or is just proprietary. It's very annoying to the people who just want to use the internet or even their own computer and not have to worry about these things.

This is why I founded the Agora Project. Our mission is to resolve these issues by creating open source software that can be used in place of these annoying programs/applications.

It is named The Agora Project for a reason. This will not be possible with just me. If you have anything to contribute (code, ideas, constructive criticism, jokes) then please feel free to do so on any of our platforms.

Thank you for reading and welcome to the Agora Project!

We can be found on these platforms

We do plan on expanding to open source platforms as well in the near future
