As a white person

In all seriousness, how do I tell if I'm white? I keep thinking about another user's example of Assad. He appears white-passing, but his name, religion and nationality would each be enough for him to be considered non-white in the US.

And is a case like that one where it actually matters to what extent the person identifies with whiteness?

Good idea. I've heard that nuking cities is a very effective way of forcing a stubborn enemy nation to surrender.

It's also preferable to a prolonged invasion and conventional bombing campaign, simply in terms of number of casualties. The number of people killed by the two nuclear bombings it would take to force Ukraine to surrender would be significantly smaller than the number of casualties incurred by a drawn out conventional invasion.

Seems like the only moral course of action for Putin to take.

Ah, the Siamese Room argument.

Never heard of real debris, why is it better?

Edit: looks like it's a seed box?

Not necessarily subscription, it looks like the $30 osmand+ app supports it. Also, you can just steal it. :D

Don't forget they also have to say the magic words: "I have been held accountable."

Did you read the article?

Curtailing aid to Ukraine will only prolong the war, Mr Zelensky argues. And it would create risks for the West in its own backyard. There is no way of predicting how the millions of Ukrainian refugees in European countries would react to their country being abandoned. Ukrainians have generally “behaved well” and are “very grateful” to those who sheltered them. They will not forget that generosity. But it would not be a “good story” for Europe if it were to “drive these people into a corner”.

He's not saying "if we lose the war, there will be a refugee crisis". He's not talking about hypothetical future refugees.

He's saying that if the west stops supplying Ukraine, the millions of Ukrainians already in western countries will react badly.

And from there, it's not a leap to call it a threat.

Why not all of the above, and a dedicated idiot to boot?

Educate yourself or shut the fuck up. Otherwise, don't act surprised when you're ridiculed for constantly voicing worthless thoughts.

Lol there's way more of us than there are of you anti-reading shitheads. And of course when I see such aggressive anti-intellectual bullshit, I feel compelled to mock the moron who's lauding the virtues of being moronic.

Marketing lessons, lmao. You certainly have the intellectual depth of a puddle, my guy.

No one gives a shit about how much appeal our posting has for you. We're not trying to sell you anything. We're not even trying to cajole you into being a little less anti-intellectual and wilfully ignorant.

We'd rather just slap you down with a concise well cited historical source, just to make it abundantly clear to everyone else that you're an ignorant intellectually lazy non-entity who has no business getting involved. Stick to your monosyllabic social media communications, replying to the latest Facebook memes, and saying all the classic lines from Reddit.

We're not trying to get you to change, honestly I think you're much more entertaining this way. Only semi-literate and clearly too big for your boots. Please continue.

No you come to social media to jump into threads about complex topics like history, philosophy, and politics...and then engage only thru simple thought-terminating cliches.

When someone quotes a relevant passage from a history book, you arrogantly dismiss it for being completely inappropriate for a "social media" site. What is appropriate here, of course, is you weighing in on these complex topics with the correct form of communication -- an incoherent series of monosyllabic words strung together.

Now that is productive communication.

I wish you luck on your continuing mission to convince yourself that you're the articulate master of communication here, actually.
