Yeah i don't think it works in Jerboa, but the web UI has an option to crosspost.

I use those small paper tea filters. Bit tricky to pour over, but no need for any holders or whatever. Brought an aeropress a couple times too but figured it's not worth it for me, i will use it at home though. I want to save on the "bulk" of an aeropress though, haha.

Pee bottle and fairy lights.

Love that chair, you can also use it in the tent unlike other chairs. Most of the times i use it as a lounger with the seat area single layered.

What a couple. Shitting on the balcony railing.

When i first saw Alfie, one and a half years ago on my balcony i thought he must be real old or sick. He was sitting in a flower pot and seemed completely unimpressed that i was standing right next to him. Just doing a lazy warning call, which i did not even recognize back then. Well i guess he is actually quite old, but such a chill dude.

And Maria always used to be my favorite pigeon, she just has such a funny and lovely character. I didn't know for a long time that they were actually a couple, i thought that was so cool when i found out.

In the last weak i saw Maria getting on top of him to mate, haha. But also the other way around. Never seen that before with other couples.

Somebody feeds them bread there. Love seeing them just chill.

Yes. And an on-off button.

Woah, bloody massive for real.

Similar, but i guess i might have an older version of this one:

At least mine is also called p134h, the "p134h 450". It does not have the fancy digital stuff, just two knobs on the side.

Max about 13" i guess, stone is a bit wider than 13.5".

Crunches a little, yes. Very happy how the bottoms turn out, that stone (and oven really) i have works wonders. I have a effeuno electrical pizza oven with the "biscotto" stone.

It's not the same Pizza, but the bottom looks somewhere along those lines,:

Fingers crossed that the rats won't go get 'em.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I saw some kind of fly creep under its wing and it was itching for a bit already before I started filming.

A photo from a few weeks ago. According to the poo it left, it stayed around for about 3-4 nights. Have not seen it yet, hope it's doing fine. The other balcony locals are there, and i am going to have new pigeon babies on my balcony in a week, Martha and her partner are sitting on eggs 🙄 I've checked the eggs but they are a few days too far in development for my ethical compass to still swap them for fakes. Very well hidden.

One parent was just there to feed, that's how i saw them. It was doing a good job of feeding both, because it was sitting on the thin dark steel beam and could only feed the one that was closest, but then flew away for a second to land in between the chicks and feed the other one, which seems to have some feather condition on its neck.

Under the terrace roof of a cafe again. Hope they don't get hurt falling off that beam before they're ready, the feeding excitement looked really sketchy.

I am not sure if this can even be called a pizza crime because it's available in almost any pizzeria in Italy, may even be listed under the "classic pizza" section. I don't remember seeing this one at home and i have always been kinda keen to order it but never dared to.

So now I saw it in a focacceria and figured this was my chance - just a quick transaction, then I can eat it alone, somewhere where nobody sees me 😁

Well, it was a bit underwhelming tbh. I might have to try it again with freshly fried fries, in a pizzeria, and eat it before the eyes of everybody else.

Well it looked juicy, fruity, sugary to me, I did not try it. In this hot, dry, rocky landscape, this juicy wonder really sticks out.

Location is Sardinia.

At the right spot, with enough time and.. construction material, the pigeon nest can grow into something a lot more serious looking than the famous meme nests.

There are nests up to 30-40cm in height at that place.

Zero Scare Crow (infosec.pub)

cross posted from !crows@lemmy.ml

There is this little crow at Piazetta Savoia in Cagliari who left its nest a bit early two weeks ago. The staff of the surrounding gastronomy fed it and now it is absolutely not scared of people and hangs around there. Doing all kinds of dorky baby crow stuff. Really crazy to see, never seen this before. It made me jump just now, as it nibbled on my sandals as I am writing this.

I passed by here earlier in the morning and was glad to not see it here, so it does seem to have a bit of a life outside of the Piazetta.

I am no crow expert, but I know that it quite often happens that crows leave their nest too early and then keep sitting on the ground. That does not mean the parents don't care for it anymore, but they may still be feeding it. So I would not just pick up a sitting baby crow before observing if the parents are still there for it. It could take a couple hours though.
