I thought they had successfully converted around the time they got the infusion of funds from MS. I thought they were started as a not-for-profit, but were already shady-as-shit when they stopped publishing stuff under open licenses.

I got a 2019b Volt, but I haven't needed to put gas in it since March.

I hope it lasts another 10 years. (It replaced a 2004 (or 3?) Saturn Ion that I bought new and drove even after insurance totaled it, and the transmission lasted less than a year after I sold the Saturn.)

There are plenty of places where they don't lie to you about PTO benefits, pay, and have some group insurance plan/program.

I think your post might be illegal speech in most of the U.S. as inciting violence. Take care of yourself.

The joke swap is a frequent feature, but it's not a universal property of Weekend Update.

No. They use something called the "AT Protocol" and that's about all I know about it.

I imagine some sort of compatibility layer could be designed, but I don't know how much fidelity you could preserve.

Either is better than X/Twitter for now. Bluesky is "easier" for many people. I prefer Mastodon myself, but there's a bridge so I can follow Bluesky profiles (and vice-versa) which is nice.

I think it affects amd64 / x64 because they originally used a 32-bit time_t for compatibility with x86 to make multiarch easier.

I don't believe it affects arm64.

We've still got time to fix it, and the next release of Debian will likely have a time-64 complete userland. I don't know the status of other "bedrock" distributions, but I expect that for all Linux (and BSD) systems that don't have to support a proprietary time-32 program, everything will be time-64 with nearly a decade to spare.

Agreed. Feet look clean and healthy, and if they were removed from shoes, I can guarantee they have less foreign matter on them then the shoes they were removed from, so I'd prefer them on the seat cushion rather than the shoes. If they were removed from shoes, they might be sweater and have more bodily products in general than the shoes they were removed from, but I doubt the seats on public transit are going to long avoid sweat and skin.

Some people's insistence on covering all body parts at all times in public makes no sense to me.

In Contact (I can't remember if the movie, book, or both), they counted out things in terms plank lengths and quarks / leptons.

I just want a version that supports multiplayer on Linux. I wasn't able to experience the writing disaster that was BL3. Been stuck in single player on BL2 or the pre-sequel for years.
