But a President cannot pardon impeachment cases.

I live in Texas. Jurors are paid $20/day with no reimbursement for expenses, and employers aren't required to pay employees on jury duty (though mine does).

So yeah - people hate it.

They may have voted for this, but I don't think anyone deserves this and I derive no joy from people being hurt because they allowed themselves to be misled.

I'm not a huge fan of their product either, but it's perfectly serviceable, affordable Bourbon. For someone who likes the occasional drink but has limited income, it beats the hell out of similarly-priced products.

42 years old, and I still thank onions should be left in the dirt. God buried them for a reason.

Moreso than you know. IIRC, cell phones had to constantly ping towers for service, and there was unused space in the packets for the pings, hence the 140 character limit. SMS simply piggybacked on the existing ping at no extra transmission cost to the carrier.

Jury nullification is the real reasons juries exist. Pass all the corrupt laws and appoint all the corrupt justices you want. As long as we still have trial by jury we have a check on power from the citizens.

Hey now, that's uncalled for.

They don't have any intention of serving the US, so there's no conflict at all.

I stopped ordering tech on Amazon when I got a fraud twice in a month on back-to-back orders a few years back.

First was a laptop that wouldn't start. I looked at the bottom and the scewes were mostly stripped, and once I got them out most of the components had been removed from the boards.

Second was a Spyder color calibrator. What I got instead was a iPhone 4 screen protector with a sticker slapped on with the UPC for what I'd ordered. When I tried returning it, they gave me flack for slap-tagging a return, but I was able to escalate in that case.

I think part of it has to do with the fact that the jobs don't require you to speak English. I've also seen a decent share of deaf food delivery people for the same reason.

I am indeed a very boring person.

What's the depth? Average depth of the ocean is about 12,000 feet. Show up around halfway down and you're suddenly subjected to 180 atmospheres of pressure.
