Fuck off with the big pharma apologetics.

Boo hoo the corporation got millions in taxpayer money to develop a vaccine and now they have to profit off of it. I feel so bad for them.

This is subtle astroturfing.

What do you mean "nothing to do with"? The title literally says "the opposite of planned obsolescence", which is planning the failure of a device. This is showing the planned continued use of a device when parts of it fails.

I hope that you enjoy it! I've heard that the Vancouver screen in Langley is a bit iffy.

@thedude currently pays for the server out of pocket and ultimately has the powers around here, but chooses to run the server diplomatically along with their admins/mods. There are some ideas in the works about how to pay for the server including buying our own hardware and crowdsourcing costs for hardware/energy use.

If you haven't already, playing Black-Mesa -> Half-Life 2 -> both Episode 1 & 2 are the perfect examples of what you describe. So many details and stories in all the levels, and you are just a guy passing through

I feel like I have seen more conversations on Lemmy about Reddit than original content

Yep.. which is the challenge. The only word we have is ADHD, but really it's so much more complex.

Which is great.. until it becomes influenced by all the other AI generated crap.

What's unique about Lemmy is that we get to actually see the number of accounts and members, unfiltered. Do we have any comparable numbers from mainstream social media that can give us a baseline from what is a normal amount of not accounts being created, what is more than normal and what is less than average. I'm assuming that all social networks face this problem, we just don't usually get to see the numbers so dryly.
