I have earlier gen and it’s kinda underpowered and undercooled. Sawzall mod should help, but I’d look for results before attempting that.

Open the disks, take the platters out, you can smash them. Or, if you’ve been naughty, you can borrow a belt sander and sand them down to naught.

I’ve looked at the sources of this paper, and it looks like the grams of CO2 per email are taken out of the ass, as it’s just a random value in „SAMRIDDHI Volume 15, Issue 1, 2023 Print ISSN: 2229-7111 Online ISSN: 2454-5767 Survey on Carbon Dioxide Emissions Through Email Conversion”

Microsoft is big tech, and GitHub is owned by y Microsoft.

My take is that it’s already your systems feature, rather than admins responsibility. If you treat departments like customers, you’d find a good way to spread the costs. If something is just a „common infrastructure”, you will always find something that makes costs that doesn’t have an easy way to track who triggered that - because you don’t pass enough information with it.

Not sure what is hard in it - you need consistent tagging, and that by itself gives you a lot of mileage in cost explorer.

Yes, I don’t believe any of them to be true. Most cultures got incompatible explanations to them, without a way to tell which is actually correct - my take is that each explanation is made up. And because people believe those explanations, they are not interested in digging into natural explanations.

Examples: seizures, schizophrenia, natural disasters, weather, infectious diseases

You may have misunderstood me - supernatural theories are worthless because they are non-falsifiable.

[–] custard_swollower@lemmy.world 7 points 5 months ago

Ok. I don’t believe they do experience supernatural. I think people are gullible, only selectively critical, and are often influenced by their culture to believe in supernatural explanations. And some people are just frauds. I believe honest people get tricked by their culture to regard unknown as supernatural, and by accepting that explanation, never find the natural behind the unknown.

[–] custard_swollower@lemmy.world 7 points 5 months ago (5 children)

Not really, because every non-falsifiable theory is true at the same time. I mean, I can’t forbid anyone from considering.

Any non-falsifiable theory is only worth so much.

What do you mean? That people experience supernatural phenomena?
