I don't even need to throw rocks, Microsoft will drive you out trying to force you into letting copilot think for you.

Good! It would help prevent flies, which are worse.

I find it useful for learning once you get the fundamentals down. I do it by trying to find all the bugs in the generated code, then see what could be cut out or restructured. It really gives more insight into how things actually work than just regular coding alone.

This isn't as useful for coding actual programs though, since it would just take more time than necessary.

Daydreaming to the point where it's interfering with your day to day life

I think it's likely both. People are broke and spend less, and what they do spend is at a company that they feel hasn't sold them out. I can't tell which one is having the bigger impact though. The data on the subject should be interesting either way.

I wouldn't count on that if I where you. They're cracking down harder than ever, and they're getting even more citizens by mistake during their raids than usual.

Scanning this thread though, I was kinda hoping there would be one single "Fuck ICE" comment amongst the rest, that was randomly downvoted to oblivion for no apparent reason.

Why???

I thought so, but as I don't use any of Apple's products, I don't know their policies and didn't want to give false info.

It's pretty common for free trials to require a credit/debit card to automatically charge you once it's time to renew. Normally you should be able to cancel it before the charge or get a refund shortly after, but some companies don't make this an easy process.

If your shower's dripping and it takes 15 times to fully flush the toilet, then chances are it's either an issue with the cities water pressure, or something wrong with the pipes in the home. The appliances themselves shouldn't cause this outside of severe damage or defects. Not that Trump cares, if he can even tell the difference to begin with.

Maybe you can contact your bank and explain what's going on, and ask that they cancel the charge. This might cause your apple account to be banned though, but I'm not 100% sure.

It might be related to this bug: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4003

It doesn't seem to block all special characters though. I was able to put square brackets in the title.

EDIT: for some reason it allowed single quotes when editing my post. Maybe it was just the '&' that was causing issues.

EDIT2: '&' doesn't seem to cause issues in posts either. It may just be effecting the bio and nothing else.

EDIT3: I'm getting an error that says: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data when trying to upload an avatar. I'm removing [solved] from the title for now. I'm also going to submit an issue on github later.

EDIT4: fixed some formatting issues

EDIT5: putting '&' in a code block causes issues. It's because of this bug: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3754
