The fact you haven’t seen it and that it’s so common in LLM output just means there’s a huge amount of the internet you don’t look at. That could be a good or bad thing—depending on your perspective.

Those IP addresses were about the most believable thing in that episode. It’s occasionally amusing nonsense, requires about 1% concentration, and if you fall asleep in one episode and wake up in the next, you won’t need to reach for the remote.

Trivial pcb with curved trace (infosec.pub)
 

I’m replacing a trivial pcb in a battery pack for a small fan. It’s 6V (4xAA) with a SPST top left and a USB socket top right. But why on earth would the power line on the pcb follow that curved path? There are no other components, just the 2 ends of the battery pack and a plastic housing.

Maybe just ‘because you can’?

Hope it's ok to ask for help here... We've had this for a couple of years now, and apart from an aphid infestation a long time ago, it's been pretty good. But recently it's been looking very sad. Leaves are pale and veined, and drop easily. It's still (trying to) flower but definitely not right.

It's in a sunny position, and watered with rain water / general bonsai food. I had read it might be nitrogen deficiency, but the feed definitely contains that.

Any advice on what else we can do to improve things?

Hi—I subscribed a long time ago to !arctic@lemmy.world, but it no longer shows any posts for me, and doesn't show up in search either. Weirdly, I was able to post there (using the Arctic app, signed in to my feddit.uk account). But I can't see the posts... Any ideas what's up there?

This one was very repeatable. Scrolling past this post caused the feed to jump up pretty much all the time. I did get it to scroll normally on a few occasions, but not exactly sure what I did...

I normally have the 'jump to comments' button disabled, but every now and again I get a really long post like this one: https://feddit.uk/post/29027169

It would be great if JtC was available in some other way--like from the menu, press and hold on the post body, etc.

In fact, and this might be too much, but an option to collapse the post body in the same way as comments would be great--I think Apollo had this back in the good old days, as I've got muscle memory trying to do it :)

Twice now I've seen a post duplicated in the main feed but where the second one opens a completely different post.

I captured a screen recording of it but it's too big to upload directly. Here's a screenshot--the second post opens something different...
