OK, yup. Fair point.

I really don't think it says keep your faith to yourself.

It does say to look after the poor, the sick and the foreigners, to not turn the temple into a market, and to pay fair wages, it says not to judge others and not to make rules for others to follow whilst not following them yourself, it says that it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven, that if you're rich you should sell stuff and give the money to the poor, and it says that you should forgive other people's debt to you.

That's why Conservatives aren't terribly keen on actual stuff Jesus said or actual things the disciples did.

This might be the best dog photo I've ever seen on the Internet. Thanks for posting.

I don't think I have an iron in this fire, but I do think that filtering some crap out of a gullible person's Internet feed is way kinder and way healthier than cutting them out of your life completely.

I think people downvoting this didn't spot the sarcasm.

You have a party that's doing tax cuts for the wealthiest and trashing renewables in favour of fossil fuel subsidies and you call them centre left??!! I mean, I already knew that the USA only has a right wing party and a loony far right wing party, but I had hoped that Canada had a left wing party of some sort. Wow.

I'm pretty sure that it could only be the Conservatives that thought that in the middle of a huge cost of living crisis, it was a good idea to make a big, unfunded tax cut for the already wealthiest, whilst sidelining their own office for budget responsibility in an absurd attempt to hide from the public how much unnecessary additional debt they were taking on and how bad the economic fallout would be, sending the stock market spiralling and forcing up mortgage payments for years to come.

Pretty sure it would only be the Conservatives who would think that it was a good idea to sabotage the auction for building renewable energy so that we continue to rely on expensive and damaging fossil fuel whilst maintaining, in a crazy act of national and global self harm, subsidies for fossil fuel extraction, and advocate for increasing the number of north sea oil rigs and fields.

Or Russia. Trump admires Putin after all, and Putin would welcome them with open arms. He's needing more troops for the front lines in Ukraine.

I'm afraid that Minister for Gender Equality is far, far more likely to be attacked as woke by the right than Minister for Women.

One of the first things they did when the coalition came to power was cancel the Building Schools for the Future programme, and the construction industry took a massive hit, resulting in an awful lot of pointless unemployment. This article claims that that stuff was exactly what Gordon Brown had planned. I'm about as skeptical about that claim as I am about anything that came from the holes of former Prat Clown Boris Johnson or former Presidunce Donald Trump.

The Spectato will always find time to blame Labour for the Conservative's catastrophic mishandling of the public finances.
