Get a single board computer and an APC for the price of the most specced out Steam Deck.
Thermal suite (expansion foundations innovation dynamics etc) is the absolute best.

Im at 11 years, and yeah 80-90% of my Reddit was from Apollo/Alienblue anytime i picked up my phone I would habitually click the app. Now, Wefwef/Voyager sits in the app location where they used to and Lemmy when im on my phone.
10-20% of the time on Reddit was on my computer and I frequent SWE / SysAdmin / DataScience subs to pass time or for help at work looking at bugs as I work as a SWE.
Despite 3D printing going to make everything more quickly, in higher quantities, in higher quality, it will still be 1.15x to 1.5x the price of the previous models.
