It's nuts to me that American schools start so early. Ours had first bell around 8:30. By high school is was closer to nine.

No, we shouldn't. More voting isn't necessarily better. It's similar to the arguments people make for mandatory voting, which is also a bad idea.

I agree, it's a hard problem to solve because the people who get into power with the current system have the least incentive to change it.
Mine will last until there is major reform. Trump is just the most visible expression of some very deep issues in the country. It might fade away when he dies, but it's still going to be there.
