EOS is a godsend, I tend to reinstall my os after every semester and found that with pure arch is a pain in the ass. Just stick that eos iso and boom, 90% of what I need, just run 2 scripts for installing my programs and the zen kernel and I'm golden

With the creation and use of ChatGPT and Bard, I bet ELI5 community and subreddit have had less posts, because people can just ask them instead. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

The intro of fo3 - fo4 - tes5 - tes4. I have saves just after the intro because it's 30min - 1h just to start playing the damned game

We sont really have many summer / winter foods here since I live in the equator and seasons are non existent. But Turkey it's pretty much only a Christmas thing.

South American here, we celebrate on the 24 at night. Spent all day cooking with my parents, there's turkey, baked potatoes, Caesar salad, 6 topes of hot sauce, carrot pudding for desert. Egg nog, spiced wine and a drink called canelazo made with naranjilla a relative of tomatoes and golden berries spiced with cinnamon and star anize

My cousin gave an old acer switch that she wasn´t using, its extremely underpowered with 2gb of ram, an old atom and 32 gigs of storage. I tried ubuntu with gnome because thats what i use on my main laptop and while it has amazing touchscreen support it barely runs. I then decided to try lxqt and it runs great but the touch support is really bad. Does anyone know a DE with a good balance between performance and usability? xfce doesnt really seem to have good touch support either and tbh i really dislike it.
