It rings of the white man's burden wrapped in "woke" language.

I think Israel fully expects the US to commit forces to a fight against Hezbollah and bail them out, especially if it looks like they might lose. Despite some PR hand-wringing, Biden has been fully behind Israel so far and seems like a true believer in the zionist project. I could see how they'd do the math and see this as their best shot to get the US to fight Hezbollah for them.

I wouldn't make that bet with how the Ukraine war is going, but who knows?

From his coverage of the Israeli argument:

While the court was in session, Germany has announced it will intervene in the substantial case to support Israel. They argue explicitly that, as the world’s greatest perpetrator of genocide, they are uniquely placed to judge. It is in effect a copyright claim. They are protecting Germany’s intellectual property in the art of genocide. Perhaps they might in future license genocide, or allow Israel to continue genocide on a franchise basis.

hahaha

Roboquest! It's a roguelite shooter. Fast paced game play, good balance, music is all bangers, and a bright, Borderlands-ish art style. I'm addicted.

I'm really looking forward to Esoteric Ebb. It's billing itself as Disco Elysium in 5e which is very much my shit.

Millennials did that with Pink Floyd when they were getting into music, it happens.

Gen alpha will probably be insufferably into the Strokes.

I really like Radiohead's music but they've been politically bad for a long time. They were really into the "Free Tibet" shit back in day and would hang Tibet flags on their equipment at shows.

The child high fived me. Then he offered it down low. But when I went for the low five he pulled his hand back and said "too slow!" This proves how evil Hamas is.

If you want the base building and survival aspect but less hardcore you could do either Valheim or Grounded. You can limit both to servers where you just play with your friends. Vastly different games astheticaly from Rust though if that's a deal breaker.

Valheim is a Viking game where you're a dead Viking warrior cast into a purgatory of sorts and have to prove you're worthy of Valhalla.

In Grounded, you're a kid that's shrunk down to the size of an insect and need to find a way to get big again. Not recommended if you're afraid of spiders.

Absolutely, I would love a Generals 2. It's probably for the best as EA LA doesn't exist anymore and I'm sure any sequel made now would both be awful and have the worst brain worms.

Fingers crossed for a remaster though.

Man I loved C&C Generals back in the day. Me and my friends played the absolute shit out of it. First game I ever modded.

China will grow larger.

That is the of thesis of the video. It's a pretty good point by point run down of why the whole "Lost Cause" idea of better Confederate generals is flat out wrong.

Yeah, Israeli's use a version of keffiyeh too, it's honestly a super useful type of scarf. Those assholes tend to go for olive drab "operator" colors for theirs though, which is why that one is so dark.
