TIL that DVDs could even be regionally locked. That's annoying.

Happy to be part of the top 1% in this case.

No, I setup a MacOS VM on my home Linux server using docker-osx which runs a bluebubbles server. It doesn't use Matrix.

This is cool but I'm happy self hosting bluebubbles.

The weight issue is why I'm looking forward to (hopefully) seeing the Aptera make it to production. Being super aerodynamic and lighter weight so that it can charge up to 40 miles a day on solar alone. Lithium batteries would be better suited for this form factor.

That appears to be running Android tho 😄 (granted Gingerbread, a very old version) but I don't think that counts as a "dumb" phone haha

Curious what do you have now?

Just wish modern devices still had easily removable back covers without needing pry tools and hair dryers.

Wow that does kinda look like a Gameboy Advance just with way more buttons!

I rocked a Samsung Alias 2 for 4 years before I got an iPhone 5. The e-ink keyboard was awesome how it changed when you flipped the screen open to portrait or landscape.
