as long as you don't get your beard caught in the mailbox, there's no owls in the swamp.

inga ko på isen is still one of my favorite Swedish idioms.

why not history | grep -i and the search term?

even if there are several, you can use ! and the command's line number to run it again

+1 for Snow Crash, time for another re-read

It shows there, from the CPU under Performance. I just like command line options

Yeah, or network settings (not always accurate) or Powershell. It just would've been nice to Win+R, cmd, uptime - way back I'd use net stats srv (or wksta)

I used to see a lot of people log out and back in and think that was restarting. Still wish Windows had an uptime command

It definitely is more expensive, especially compared to iso. It's very effective, and reusable to a point, and while I might not get it again it's been very useful and glad I tried it. Cheaper than ultrasonic but not as useful outside of cleaning smoking residue.

I would imagine the bath is also less hands-on, time to research ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I've used this and it's super easy - only on glass and silicone rough, no electronics involved. Gets into all of the corners and parts you can't reach.

Coat the pieces, let them sit, rinse with hot water:

Work system, have to return it next year for the new cycle but they just wipe it - which I already did (oops) and to reinstall I'd need a reinstall key (and don't want the hassle, already tried).

Thanks, I'll check that out! I'll take finicky over bricked, at this point it's just to see if I can get it to work for a couple months ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Oh nice! Yeah, I tried the Mint (Cinnamon) live distro and couldn't get the wireless to show, for starters. There seemed to be a lot of hoops to jump through, and I used to just throw a distro on HW and figure it out. Apple is a different beast, and since I wiped it I couldn't pull anything.

I'll try Endeavour next - not tied to any distro, just familiar with (X/K)Ubuntu most recently (I'm an older bearded Unix/Linux fan, ha). Much appreciated!
