Dismissing the article as not being "news" is exactly the same sentiment as the news being "obvious".

It's not new information to you, but you are just speaking for yourself. Rather than holding back to avoid annoying people like you, I'd rather things be shared freely to inform the masses.

I wouldn't call those virtues. Those are values or principles they have, but they don't reflect high moral standards.

Plus all of the unmentioned people in the trolley since it would also hit both bridges

Free speech as in allowing hate speech, which is a free speech absolutionist position, whether we agree with it or not. Complaints about offensive jokes not being allowed reflect this sentiment.

The framing of the article is focused on people who might have agreed with the free speech absolutionist position before to show them how they've drifted away from it. If they've taken this position out of principle, the cognitive dissonance could reach them and force them to reconsider their views.

Who knows how many people this may resonate with, but this type of challenging thought still seems important for bridging the political divide. This may also give readers new angles for challenging people they know that this particular article never reaches.

Before AI, people manually "Photoshopped" images with different image editing tools. These people took elements from different existing images and put them together to create a new one.

I remember when Trump was trying to make a deal for rare earth minerals from Ukraine but burned that bridge too

I'm glad you are happy to limit your life experiences

I think you need a more extreme number if you say the words "would never sell" because that is only double the price.

With the other inflation we've seen, especially for the price of eggs, and upcoming tariffs those kinds of changes are not unheard of.

Supply and demand would still say that there would be less products demanded and produced, but unless we are talking about specific branding, I would be surprised if supply or demand for any kind of product drops to zero.

Like a WWE Superstar suplexing the opponent (his own country) to show dominance? Gotcha

A more "controlling" company could try to lock down the cartridge or even a disc with the logic that the license is tied to the purchaser. It doesn't seem like much since that is the status quo, but last generation Microsoft was testing those waters and we're just happy that these boundaries aren't being pushed again right now.
