Calculators, Editors, Call Apps, Population simulators, map projection programs, paid newspapers, offline sea maps.

That's the ones I can think of right now

lemmy get this straight, you think it would somehow have been better for him, instead of Putin, to control Russia? Or am I reading this wrong?

I remember this from reddit, but on there it was because some bot messed up and started posting conversations that didn't make any sense

I've figured out how to pirate stuff for a while now, but it only recently came to mind that I could get premium versions or paid programs for stuff that I've been avoiding for years.

For instance, Google docs is the only (good) free doc editor app, but now that I can, I am trying out several normally paid apps.

Does anyone have any interesting suggestions for apps (or computer programs for linux and windows) that I could download now that I have realized the power I wield?

Regarding your username, if you log into lemmy with normal characters, does it let you or do you have to use the emoji letters every time?

thing is, for my dialect of German, autocorrect is less than useful, so for me, typing Bavarian on a phone keyboard is certainly the fastest at around 150 wpm, trumping english or german on any other board, probably because it exactly matches the way I speak and I've been doing it for 13 years

"How do I best consume pirated content?"

"Buy this piece of tech that was specifically made to pay a company to stream specific paid services"

capitalism is a worldwide system, europeans are no more safe from it than americans or afticans, we need to overthrow it everywhere

A wireless showerhead is clearly impossible... if you don't have a machine that works on very little energy and somehow was able to store enough hydrogen while also sucking in oxygen to make water

Say we had technology so efficient to make thus process possible, to make 1 liter of water (1 kg) you just need 1/9 of a kg of hydrogen, so if your showehead stored 1 kg of hydrogen in an extremely enclosed space, you could "pull 9 liters of water out of the air

Even if this device was possible, it would be extremely impractical, and would probably suffocate you by sucking all the o2 out of the air if you are in an enclosed space

Ibwas about to dislike (not downvote) this one, but after a second of thought, this is great. Because it doesn't make practical sense, but at least isn't something based in a fault of understanding of the real world, so good job
