Nobody will know you're a traveller unless you tell them. And most likely they will welcome you if you do tell them.

Seems my "choice" of "assistant" had been changed to Gemini instead of regular Google Assistant. I managed to switch it back and then disable it.

Lately I keep noticing my phone screen is on with a transcription of my conversation on screen as if I was asking it something. How do I turn that shit off? Galaxy S9+

I think it's normal to have comfort games.

There's no shame in not finishing something if you got enough out of it. Maybe a little bit of guilt because you paid for it, but you can always go back and finish it later.

Maybe it's a good idea to stop adding to the backlog knowing that you're not as likely to finish new ones. At least until the backlog is clear. Maybe you find more comfort games in the backlog and have even less time for new ones.

"Tweakers Live Downstairs". They were right.

Frosty areas are some of my faves.

Especially DS3 Anor Londo & Ariandel, DS2 Frozen Eleum Loyce.

Just like real life, if you're warm inside, then cold, snowy weather is cozy af.

Did you make eye contact with Captain Crunch or did you turn the box to hide your shame?

If you are coming from FL it leaves a lot to be desired, but it's the most similar I've seen. Definitely worth a try.

Up for things I like, appreciate the effort, appreciate the reply.

Down only for things like spam, posts in the wrong sub, reply is in bad faith or being a total dipshit. Disagreement alone does not warrant a downvote.

Yeah that would only apply if you get stuck. The most important rule is to have fun!

I'm a total noob at this. My first time making a regular loaf of sandwich bread was earlier this year. Now I'm attempting sourdough. This is the tallest loaf I've made, so I'm happy about that. Long way to go before I would share this in person, though. Judge away!

Hey all. I'm looking for your favourite games that were made in Godot that are available to play on Steam or itch.io (or other??)

I'm already familiar with such bangers as Dome Keeper and Sapo 3D. What else do you suggest? I'm open to your own games/self promo, or any others you are aware of.

Steam is having a Racing Fest sale until August 4th and I thought I might like to try. I used to play a lot of Gran Turismo 2 and 3 back in the day, especially the rally modes.

Any recommendations for me? Prefer anything under $10, no EA games, no Ubisoft games, and realistic although it's not as important.

I'm also interested in Garfield Kart - Furious Racing if anyone has an opinion on that.

"But we also think that the responsibility for the safety of [low-income people] — and let's face it, it's low-income people who have this problem — that's a responsibility for society at large, for everyone, not just for the people who happen to own the buildings where these people make their homes."

Mine was like the meme; sound recorder and a beige stick microphone put up to an old used Fender practice amp, and a no-name brand guitar from the pawn shop. We've come a long way.

Pizza night (infosec.pub)

Homemade crust, pepperoni, red peppers.

The crust was just flour, water and a little salt. About 1.5cm thick. Once the dough ball was consistent I coated it with more flour to prevent sticking and then pressed it down into shape.

Pepperoni was sliced off a tube. It looks kind of greasy, but it wasn't too much, and I really like that it curled up a bit. I put the oven on high broil near the end to get it to crisp up a bit.
