@Unforeseen this is what makes something like Sublime appealing, they're like little corpus bubbles of things about an idea but iNtHeCLoUd and I get attached to things and want them available forever which is the real problem ๐Ÿ˜‚

I clip and collect and annotate so much that it's basically a job that is gradually losing it's value as my passive collection ramps up.

#Pieces remembers where I go, what I've seen and been working on. I have a Readwise Reader account. so why do I keep stacking clippings and highlights into @obsidianmd vaults ๐Ÿ˜ญ

@INeedMana I use a lot of metaphors from mycology when writing, so I had a similar first impression! Honestly I really like looking at and exploring in a graph like this. I wish it was easier to do that when you have many objects in the field without bogging down the software so much.

this is the knowledge graph of my primary @obsidianmd vault, "Goldfish".

Just about everything of consequence comes through this vault at some point. Sometimes they don't ever leave.

Sometimes they should.

one of my favorite @obsidianmd plugins got a major revision release recently; Waypoint! https://github.com/IdreesInc/Waypoint/

#Waypoint lets you put markup in a folder note that will create an index of all the notes in that folder and it's children. A Waypoint will stop at another Waypoint note, but #Landmark notes act as a join between Waypoints.

Syntax is easy just put a single line:

%% Waypoint %%
%% Landmark %%

The resulting folder note looks a little like this attached image.

@INeedMana if they offer an OpenAI-ish compatible API (e.g. https://blahblah/v1) you can add it as an OpenAI service with a new endpoint and your own API creds inside AI Providers but IDK about the various other extensions.

the mesh-AI one uses fabric though and you can configure fabric to use mistral's API just fine i reckon?

i am learning a lot of cool things today, like #Pintora is a diagrams-as-code markup language that is parsed similar to markdown? i use mermaid and excalidraw and draw-io/diagrams-net diagrams in @obsidianmd already but Pintora is really interesting to me!

i don't know if i can get my AI assistant to understand it as well as editable svg/xml drawio diagrams, but i can't wait to find out.
