That looks really cool. Would love to see if there is something like that for android

Actually, it should be easier to convince these people. If they are already used to 2+ IM apps, then what's the issue with adding one more? Ask them if you are important enough for one more app. ๐Ÿ˜€

Problem is for people who only have one app, and find it too bothersome (or confusing, for non-techie / old people) to use more than one app.

Yeah, I didn't know it was just one person. That doesn't really feel umm... safe for something like email.

This looks pretty great. How long have you been using it for? I am using FastMail for quite a while, but I don't use web interface, or calendar / contacts syncing (have my own nextcloud server for those), so just need email. Its' pretty pricey compare to purelymail.

It's a paid app, not open source. They can't take any contributions without hiring or paying the person, or will open themselves to legal repercussions.

I was the same, but I have settled on zim-wiki, it does all I want it to do, and best thing is everything is in plaintext files. (That and simple pen-and-paper bullet journal.)

Don't know your use case or requirements so not sure if it will suit you, but I think it The One for me (using it for a few years now).

I am using NetGuard, it allows you to block any app from using internet.

For ad blocking, you can enable filtering traffic. You can download host file from within the app or provide your own (or a mix of both).

It's good to see more reddit clients coming to lemmy!

[โ€“] engineer 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Yes, I have noticed it with few communities, but this issue isn't only with infosec.pub, I tried opening the community from other instance, and it was the same issue.

I looked at a communities on lemmy.world, one possible reason could be that both lemmy.world and lemmy.ml are on 0.18.1-rc, while infosec is on 0.18.0

Have you used Tusky? How do you compare the two?

K-9 has joined Thunderbird family. Development speed has increased and it will be officially renamed to Thunderbird Mobile soon.

No, the APIs for clients are different.
