There's no will in there. They must give you your data or else. The only thing they can do is to notify you of a required extension because they are overwhelmed. Sans that, they are obliged by law to give you what's yours.

I made a tool for that just yesterday: https://directory.fstab.sh/. Or try https://lemmyverse.net/ for something much more fancier.

That's actually a viable plan. As long as they can keep their social circle it's supposed to work, right?

Aha, perfect, so someone made this before! :-D

I'm not quite sure if the 'subscriber' count includes federated subscriptions. Does anyone know?

This one was on page 3 of lemmy.world, heh. Rolling out the update that tries to scrape all pages proper right now.

I could add another screen to show the description on the phone, I guess. It renders and works fine from the phone, but, obviously, the descriptions are lacking.

I think they have several times more users than all mastodon instances combined, though?

There's memmy and mlem and a couple more. They all are available via testflight.

Email is the original fediverse. Just spin off your MTA of choice and suffer trying to convince everyone else you’re not in it for spam.

Viewing lemmy from mastodon just shows you the posts. It's not much useful, as you can’t see the comments, and it tends to be a bit noisy, too. That said, it still works.
