oddly 48 port 1gb switch was eating more power then thread ripper builds(2 of them)

i went to a fanless netgear 24 port switch for 25 bucks.

was 30 extra on top of Normal bill.

this will cut bill down by 20 alone.

depends on location power can be a big issue.

it can be cheaper per year to burn disc , then hdd/ssd storage.

spin a drive up for a month every year. aka began,middle and year end.

total time of spin up is 1 full month spread across the 3 time a year

Had a 1gb speed network.... 1 day speed was 10mb transfer... took me week ti figure out 1 cable connected to device got damaged.
It was super easy to spot. If I taken a min f my time too look.

I have pny,scan disk,odd name card, No fails for years now. But I read the listing in total.

Ssd, SD have different tiers of sku. Speed,endurance, iops etc.
