Even knowing the etymology, for a long time I was puzzled why that term was used - it seemed that they hate gay people, not fear them. After meeting some homophobes, I was wrong. They are so utterly completely horrified by the idea of gay people existing to the level they start losing higher brain function.

Which community is this? For research purposes of course.
The Big Carrot won't tell you this but carrots are naturally grayish. Farmers feed them a substance called astaxanthin to give them the deep orange color that is valued by consumers.
Nah, I checked the user's history before engaging, they (heh) seem to be honestly convinced. But I don't think even they can explain where their fear of trans people comes from.
You have a chance to run an experiment.
Know your audience. A lot of people here are trans or trans-adjacent. Imagine if you were speaking to a room full of trans people. What would you say to convince them to accept their birth gender? Or at least not be booed out of the room.
Most of them. There are a couple of crazy ones, but mostly don't be an asshole and I doubt many would ban you for expressing an opinion that gender is permanently fixed on birth/conception. You would get downvoted a lot though.
Well you seem to consider it a "hysteria" and a "trans agenda", so I don't think you would welcome any actual discussion. Or that you care at all either way.
If you really want to discuss the question of what gender really is, does it exist, and how this messy stuff of being a human functions, there are much better ways to open a discussion.

I assume it would be a delicacy served for special occasions. Or a desert.
This. They are run quite separately (even though cross posting is possible). IG is on a roll currently as the legal status of Tiktok is shaky in the US, and Instagram managed to replicate the majority of features.
TIL 9gag still exists.
It used to be fun around 2015, i haven't visited it years
Yes, it was a joking reference to salmon, which really is fed specific food to make it more orange (it's also a part of their natural diet in lesser quantities)
