The name sounds SUSPICIOUSLY like one of the cheap garbage plaguing Amazon lately with the random names. Not sure I would touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Do I require PCIE bifurcation? (alien.top)
 

I have not received all my parts from ebay yet or I would test this directly. I've got a 4 port broadcom nic on the way and it occurs to me I might need a motherboard that supports bifurcation. It's specifically

LENOVO 90Y9355 Broadcom Quad-Port 1GbE PCIe Network Card BCM95719A1904G High

Anyone know offhand if I just bought a card I can't use? It's going in a system I know doesn't support bifurcation but I can't find anything one way or the other about this card.

So it's 6 inch PVC... how long is it? We need to know it's capacity in TB.

I don't have too much critical data to backup. I have a low power thin client (lenovo m720q with a 2tb sata drive) I park at a friends house on their network. In exchange I let them borrow a bit of space on it too.

Obsidian with it's folders/files in a location that gets duplicated to another drive by rsync.

I collect old computers.... mostly the portable variety: Powerbook 3400c, some handsprings, a tandy trs-80 model 100, apple newtons, etc.....

I have coffee mugs... a Dr Pepper mug from the 70s or 80s...a Y2K bug mug from, well, y2k, a nasa mug, etc.....

Selective Lego sets.
