Hi, I think you've made it to the wrong sub (since you're not looking to self host at all). non the less, here are some pointers. a domain is what you need. it does not matter what you will use it for and how many email addresses you tie to it. get your domain name from a provider with a good dns management tool (personally use cloudflare, but did not buy the domains from cloudflare). domain forwarding to shopify is easy to do. setting up mail with gmail as well. I forgot if they charge though. you can create as many emailaddresses youwant as long as you have ownership of the domain.

Depending on the top level domain designation (.com, .cz, .bet, ...) 24 dollars a year can be cheap or expensive. look around.

Looking at the comments, you'd think that's not the common installation method? Do they use f-droid to update the application, or did they ever update using a playstore?

When you get invited into a Teams call you don't need a microsoft account to join as guest. you'll get the web interface probably.

I agree. Moving to another country, even if it is on paper requires money. So does a therapist. I'm in a better position than op and I don't get a therapist although I could use one.

Self study is important though. speaking from experience with the same life experience as op, learning a new trade and going with it has changed my life for the better by a lot. finding the right (paying) employerin the trade is a bit of work (years). some jobs just don't pay enough to live off. I know it's wrong.

A tip I can give op is to put the savings in a bank account you don't have access to. in the same of somebody else. I went through a period of cash only. This was pre-smartphone, so transfers between accounts required me to go to the bank. Perhaps move financial applications to a secondary phone if you have one, or install when needed.
