Well you have the right to remain silent. So there's that.
Beyond that though I'm not really sure. I thought it was fairly clear in the US for a persons rights, but you guys are all over the place these days.

Like a carbon monoxide thing?
I don't think you forget uninstalling your web browser.

I swear to god I installed Ubuntu the other week, it failed the apt upgrade and after a reboot it just loaded into Phoenix terminal... No idea what happened I just sighed and reinstalled a fresh copy.

I just installed grub because LINUX. grub-customizer does a good job of keeping my menuentries consistent between updates.

You're betting someone's life on it no matter what.
I'm not willing to give up on someone, especially a child, just because of what might happen.

but I don't think kids like him go from "literally a psychopath" to "normal adult"

Not with that attitude they don't. Do you really think a 6 year old is beyond help?
They need to be removed from the parents, given proper psychiatric help and support, and placed with a loving family that can help them manage whatever issues they have.
I have a feeling that won't happen though and part of the reason for this is because people believe that small children cannot be helped.

I can't think of a context where people use "Okay" to mean "Yes". When do people typically use it incorrectly?

I like to use cheeseburgers.
Today is a 3 cheeseburger day. So pretty good. Cheeseburgers make everything better.

Don't be ridiculous, of course it's not. It can't be.

Not at all, no dumb questions.
Many Smart TVs do have modified software to show even more adverts than normal. Some of the built-in TV smart apps also have a lot of adverts. That's why many people are recommending getting a proper streaming box/adapter instead of using the built in smart TV features.

Even on the official streaming devices there are "adverts", but they are usually only for installed apps and they are more focused on their content and recommendations.
Though this does vary it seems.

It sounds like you have the right kind of plan. Main thing to know is that the Smart features on TVs are very much a "nice extra" and shouldn't factor in to your buying decision as a £50 stream stick/box is usually way better.
