I don't know how anyone else does it. I've tried an evil run in Fallout 3 so I could recruit a particular follower. I had to restart multiple times because I kept accidentally being nice to people, and on my last attempt, I couldn't even make it to the first town before I stopped playing because it was way too painful to be mean. It felt the same even just watching someone else play Durge on BG3.

That's a very carefully worded statement. Notice how "ice cream cake" is used to describe the occasion and not their products. So on any occasion where you might want an ice cream cake, consider one of our cakes because they fulfill the same purpose. No they are not ice cream cakes. We never said they were ice cream cakes.

I was under the impression that hearing loss is usually a gradual thing.

if something really is as bad as someone says then why does everyone do it?

Remember when everyone smoked and we were taught that it was good for our health?

Um, I use rechargeable batteries in all my kid's toys? With how often they need to be replaced, these batteries have already long paid for themselves.

And if you forget or don't have time to plug them in to recharge?

Catching up on sleep is on my to-do list.

Pedo? No, the emails were a lot worse. They provide evidence that he engaged in a harmless sexual act with another consenting adult man.

I don't know what this QR code thing is, but they do have a page where you can enter the lot number printed on the bag and get the lab report. I last checked about a month ago and everything was in working order.

Only generative AI is in that bubble. RL had a brief moment in the spotlight and is back in its winter phase now.

Right, that's a fair criticism with regards to microtransactions. I don't know much about those kinds of games though, so I can't really say much about it.

My partner bought Skyrim twice (Steam and Switch) and 100%'d both, and now is going through the same process with BG3. I'm just thinking about how the achievement system is acting like a multiplier to the game's value in this instance.

Structured competitions require some rules and restrictions though, to keep things fair, beyond just being ‘equitable’ to minorities.

The question then becomes whether this ruling is fair. No one's questioning the need for rules.

I can only speak for myself on this matter, but as someone who competes (albeit at an amateur level), this would not detract from the fun of the sport. Even if they end up at the top of the podium, that's no different from running into a genetic freak. If you have five of them taking up the top five spots in the rankings? Then we'll talk.
