I kinda like don’t stop believin’, because for a pop song it has one extended chorus to end the song. I like unique song structures though especially when really popular songs do something interesting like that. Journey kinda played around with structure and phrasing, given their musical backgrounds. Arena rock with fusion roots.

Grusch has sworn under oath that there are departments in the government that have actual alien crafts and bodies.

One of the worst casting decisions ever.

He should have been cast as one of the roughest, toughest, meanest drifter/scoundrel type characters ever. It would have been amazing if he was the grittier, menacing Han Solo character who protects anakin at all costs.

Hopefully that day comes soon

Since my vans fell apart, I’ve been wearing my sketchers work shoes I bought for a job like 4 years ago. I didn’t wear them a ton but I’m wearing them to work daily now, they are still functionally new besides being dirty.

That doesn’t bother me so I’m going to still consider them. The pair I tried on fit better than any pair of shoes I’ve tried on.

Come to think of it my supervisor has those and I remember him saying they were several years old. They look almost new.

I mean they were the basic all black pair. $70 was way too much for them considering how fragile they were. There’s a skate shop that sells beefier ones but I don’t want a heavy shoe, I want something fairly light and a bit breathable.

After buying a $70 pair of Vans at famous footwear and having them literally fall apart after using them as daily walking shoes, I’ve realized the quality of shoes overall has gone down over the last decade or so.

I don’t mind if they cost $100 or more, are there medium-light weight walking shoes that can withstand the horrors of walking on pavement? I remember checking out some Ecco shoes at the mall years ago, didn’t pull the trigger as they were almost $300 but the way the construction was described to me it sounds like those could last 5+ years.

What shoes do you have that you wear almost daily (not during the winter), and have had for almost a year but aren’t falling apart?

Tried searching for this years ago and can’t find it.

I was pretty sure it was Step by Step but I went through every episode description in Wikipedia and didn’t see it but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Google and YouTube are no help.

So Patrick Duffy (or if I’m misremembering, whoever is the male lead of whatever show) is going through a midlife crisis and buys a sports car, though this could just have been for his daily. He gets a vanity plate and he wants it to say “see lover”, as in “see me? I’m a love machine”. But it’s too many letters so he decides to do ‘c lover’. He gets the plate and it says clover and he can’t convince anyone in his family that it’s c lover and not clover. It’s dumb as hell but I just want to see that dumb episode because it’s been stuck in my head for years and it’s like an itch that needs to be scratched.
