i always thought it was so dramatic when certain people in the media talked about its pending collapse, but i have to admit that i've started to have second thoughts about its long-term presence for a little while now

imagine thinking that being up 17 is so much better than being up 16
the fake punt decision made next to no sense since there would be limited upside even if you do convert. sure, a new set of downs would be nice but you'd still be somewhat backed up in your end and had just cut the deficit to 9. why not just simply punt and let your defense get you another stop.
now, it is somewhat nice for the Lions that Matt LaFleur just made his own braindead decision going for 2, but still, that doesn't make up for the fake punt call
