Real good that you can just eat wherever and aren't limited to say, 30 minutes around noon, so you can always get those deals

I wasn't abandoned, my father killed himself because the IRS and bank were coming after him for our home (which we lost after he died). Then my mom moved to Florida (with her boyfriend who she met at his wake and was a highschool friend of my dad's) because she couldn't get a job up here and we had nothing.

I chose to stay with my younger brother because we had life and connections here. My mom just finished getting through the bankruptcy from the unpaid taxes (which was partly due to a client of my father's company lying about making payment leaving my dad with a massive tax bill for money he was never paid). He was also the sole employee of his own company, so it died with him.

This one does definitely seem like just a slip up though, the slur doesn't make any sense in the context he used it in

Did they intentionally put that 75% of the $1.2T budget going to the military like 1 sentence before saying l ~~less than 1%~~ less than 0.001% is going to headstart programs and think that out would absolve the previous sentence?

That would have been nice to have, as someone who didn't get that luxury I'm worse off than people making $7/hr less than me because I've been living paycheck to paycheck since I was 18 with no parents to help me and one I have to financially and physically support.

There's absolutely a big organized crime scandal or something. Probably gambling related

Excel is fine for warehousing, but it's not super easy to navigate without tons of way too complex macros and you can't have multiple edit sessions on one file.

I'd just use like a Postgres instance with something like Metabase for active tracking of part status with some basic CRUD scripts set up to buttons on dashboards for each car section or something.

Maybe a Wekan or something for active tracking of part production and general activity stuff.

I can't believe he's still going, he's been working on these marble machines for like over a decade now

That's actually not good, I got a similar spread from an actually nice local restaurant for about $20 less the other day. Why would I spend that much at a chain?

You'd think this kind of infantilizing of the customer would drive people to hate these companies and grow wary of marketing in general.

They aren't selling this to the customer, they're selling it to OEMs. B2B sales are always going to be at odds with B2C sales.

It's so OEMs can put an Intel Ultra badge on their laptops instead of i3 or i5. Especially since AMD is kinda dominating that market right now.

And Apple switched to Silicon so that massive customer is gone
