I've spent hours using the phone finder at gsmarena and not being happy with the less than 20 results I get.

Closest is maybe the Samsung S25 but it's still too big. Also I don't want to drop $500 on a phone. Anything over $200 is too much.

This is just miserable.

I'm using a Sharp Aquos Wish from 2022, because it's 5.8 inches tall. It just barely fits in my pocket, but honestly is a bit uncomfortable. I wish I had a phone about 5.5 inches tall. Ideally with the latest android OS, a good battery, and wireless charging.

NOTHING like that exists! The closest is maybe the Unihertz Jelly Max, which is Android 14 instead of 15, and doesn't support wireless charging. It's also made in China, and comes preinstalled with spyware.

I could use GrapheneOS if I got a Google Pixel, but Google doesn't have a line of small phones. They even developed foldable phones so they could make a smaller foldable phone if they wanted, but instead they created the abomination that is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which is a gigantic 6 inch phone when folded, and unfolds into a tablet-sized device. For the love of god, WHY!???

The whole point of foldables was to make phones smaller, not make them twice as big! Who was responsible for this?

I don't know what to do. At this point I think I may never upgrade my phone. I'll be using my Sharp Aquos Wish 10 years from now, and then abandon phones entirely when the network stops servicing Android 11.

I would love to buy a kei car but the USA won't import them. I want a Nissan Sakura - an EV that costs $15,000 new. Nope. The USA has all these rules in place to prevent competition. They say it's about fuel efficiency or safety, but many foreign cars are more fuel efficient than USA cars, and this is an EV - so it's vastly more fuel efficient! As for safety, we allow motorcycles, golf carts, and farm tractors on our roads but not kei cars?

It's not about fuel efficiency or safety. It's about protectionism. USA auto manufacturers have rigged our market to ensure we have to pay $30,000 or more to buy a new car. They don't want $10,000 kei cars being sold here because they know they can't compete.

Canada has it pretty bad if they're worse off than Somalia or North Korea. Canada should really consider joining the USA so we can improve their quality of life.

You won't convince me Trump is actually in charge. Not unless DOGE investigates the Pentagon, and the reason Musk cut ties is so that he wouldn't be assassinated for that investigation.

The Pentagon has failed every annual audit since they started auditing it 7 years ago.

The day before 9/11, Donald Rumsfeld gave a speech about how the Pentagon lost over 2 trillion dollars that it couldn't account for. 9/11 was the distraction the Pentagon needed to prevent an audit, and they got 20 years if increased military spending thanks to the "war on terror"

The Pentagon will kill anyone who tries to hold it accountable. They will steal any amount of money, including trillions and trillions of dollars. They answer to no one.

Right there. That's the real enemy to our Republic.

It's because their approach to protests is to form police lines. They want to form a phalanx-style wall of police that cuts off access to the road. This limits freedom of movement and lets them direct the protest towards a given direction if they decide to break it up and fire tear gas into the crowd.

They probably don't have enough people to form 10 police lines.

I would call this "decentralized protest" and yes it cripples the current tactics of the police.

Their answer will be decentralized policing, basically nazi tactics. Informants, tip lines, rewards for ratting our your neighbor. The FBI uses the same type of tactic when they do manhunts. Except they will use these tactics to target the people organizing the protests.

I can't even view the website anymore. It gives me this. Does the same thing from my home PC and my work PC.

It's a massive pain in the ass because when I google search for information, half the results are from reddit. Those results are all useless now. I can't see the information.

Fuck that place. Fuck the shit-eating motherfuckers who are running it into the ground. I'm so tired of self-entitled elitism. Someone needs to tell these fuckers that they're not better than anyone else and just because they don't like someone's opinion that's not a good reason to exclude them, silence them, and isolate them. WTF.
