"if you can't fix the problem, just become part of it!" Great advice mate π

If anyone was free to buy a house whenever they liked, renting wouldn't be such a problem. The problem is, renting nowadays is the only solution and therefore those who own properties are free to charge what they like and people either put up with that or be homeless.
Renting should be a temporary measure, however nowadays people can't afford to actually buy homes because renting means they don't have money for deposits.
Renting isn't a choice for most people, it's a means to keep them off the streets. The landlords have the monopoly.

Similar story, my friends dad told my friend off because he saw the song "Get Fucked, Stud" by Biffy Clyro on his iPod when we were on holiday. My friend promptly renamed it to "Stud"π
Refuse: use/buy an alternative
Reduce: if you have to use it (or buy it), use /buy as little as possible / until there's an alternative
Though the trade off with all that holiday is that... Going on holiday during that time is like 4x more expensive! π
Haha innit, tbf I do like the 2010 - 2014 era of eastenders, reminds of simple times at home with my family

100%, if the schools were funded well enough, issuing school phones would be amazing!
School computers work well because they block most of the distractions but ofc students have 1001 distractions in their own!
For sure! A lot of parents don't really understand the amount of stuff teachers have to go through either, and we don't get paid for the hundreds of hours we do outside of teaching hours.
It's why I had to quit in the end. Felt like I couldn't give it my all because I was mentally and physically exhausted.
This is why I use a modded version of Instagram that gets rid of ads
