You should hear the sound they make. Thumping bass that you feel as much as you hear it.

Soju and fried chicken is also an excellent option.

I wasn't allowed to watch "violent" movies as a kid, so I missed a lot of action classics like RoboCop, Rambo, etc. But there were a few exceptions we had on tape so they got watched a lot. Long Kiss Goodnight, T2, Alien,... I rewatched this one again a couple of years ago and was shocked at how violent it actually is. It finally clicked that my single Mum was making an exception for iconic kick-arse women.

I just got into Cyberpunk 2077, and too many parts of it are leaking into the real world. This could be a Delamain interaction.

Interesting, I seem to know "thank you" in a few languages, but not "please". I wonder what that indicates...

Spanish: por favor, gracias

French: sil vous plait, merci

Indonesian: ?, terima kasih

Mandarin: ?, xie xie

Japanese: ?, arigato

German: ?, danke

Italian: ?, grazie

Aussie: oi, cheers/ta (/s)

My last place was directly over a karaoke bar. It was weird how the sound of drunk off key singing became a comforting sleep sound. I missed it when they shut down.

I'm guessing you're not in Melbourne then, but Red Sparrow is a fully vegan pizza restaurant with a few locations there. Very good, from what I've heard.

The £ is a bit of a giveaway.

That's a good one.

We used to screenshot desktops, set it as the wallpaper, and move all the desktop icons to a temporary folder.

I've heard swapping the N and M keys is a good one because it doesn't register as unusual on a visual scan but messes up touch typists.

I've had similar experiences with high powered esk8, scooters, EUCs, etc. having been on several group rides with them. Nearly all owners of more capable devices will invest in safety gear and learn to ride responsibly because there's more to lose. Meanwhile there are basic ebike and scooter riders all over the place with no gear, doubling up, using phones...

It's frustrating because local legislation is rightly responding to these rider issues, but when they do a crackdown operation they target the geared up riders who appear to be fast and scary.

It's actually easier to just use it every time. Deciding whether you need to is cognitive load that's better spent on other things.

Yes, and the all new TwinkedIn is already experiencing a surge in active users! Most of them are coming from Grindr for some reason, but it still counts!
