New users; are any of you migrating to matrix/element too? Which rooms? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

It was hard enough to get my family to switch from WhatsApp to signal. I think matrix would be a step too far. I do have account myself but haven't seen too many active rooms.

I find too often that ChatGPT will just make things up when asking things outside of the basics. Most of the time it is just quicker to search for official documentation and read it than relying on ChatGPT's answers being right.
