Sync doesn't seem to format post titles which have links, which breaks the titles of posts made from mastodon ( since the hashtags are in the title).

It is to get around filters on more oppressive platforms. My recommendation is if you see people self censoring themselves in places where they are free to say the words, tell them to say it!
Are you actually looking at it from your instance? The post should say via myinstance.com at the top. I think there is someone working on making this behavior more intuitive. Also I posted this on liftoff.
I like my Astell and Kern SR25 II for a portable music player, good UI and plenty of headphone power.
I believe it is because it doesn't have a closing tag on the spoiler. Lets see if this works:
