PieFed also has feeds and you can create them to share with others (the instance itself and its users) just like BlueSky but instead of making it around a group of profiles, its made up of a group of communities. Then there's topics which is exclusively made available by the instance you're browsing from doing the samething but categorizing things in an organized way.

Also, for you to create feeds on BlueSky you need to use a 3rd party service, while on PieFed its there by default and provided for everyone to do it directly from the default interface everyone uses. In that aspect, I think PieFed is ahead of Lemmy honestly.

 

You can still see lemm.ee for example on search results since the metadata was saved by it, you can see a snippet and the topic title but of course upon clicking you will hit a dead end since its been shutdown.

Is there something like Serpia Search use case for browsing content from PeerTube instances to be used to search such topics we can still see on search engine results to find them without necessarily using an instance? I was wondering if there was and had an API maybe it could be used like on SearX to gather an alternative link for such cases when clicking in a result from a closed instance
