I don't know what sources you're referring to but I live in a place in the US that has been choked out by wildfire smoke multiple times a summer for the last several years and no one really talks about it. It's not acknowledged as a new phenomenon or related to climate change at all. At most you hear a "smoky out today huh?"

Dude could have been cast as a white walker and HBO would have saved a ton in VFX and makeup costs.

The Bible is pretty explicit about that as well. You would think that warning would prevent some of this behavior but here we are.

Is calling someone weird bullying now? That's some weak shit. Normal is a myth.

Oh interesting. How was the cloud cover?

I'm not defending anything except my position that your assertion is incorrect. Brandishing a weapon with the intent to scare someone off is illegal in its own right in every jurisdiction I am familiar with in the US. You are giving bad advice and you need to educate yourself before you give what could be interpreted as legal advice.

The specifics of this case are irrelevant. You said multiple times that an armed person has no claim to self defense against an unarmed person and that is demonstrably and obviously untrue. The fact that you're carrying a weapon doesn't require you to tolerate unlimited violence by someone without a weapon. That's crazy.

That's easy to say when you're not the one getting punched in the face repeatedly. You never know how far a violent person will go.

I'm not familiar with that bit of history but I'm guessing from your phrasing this was unsuccessful which reinforces my point a bit haha

So we're back to sticking UV flashlights up our asses? Nice

That is not even close to the same thing as giving two consecutive Nazi salutes in front of millions of people.

Can we add the option to exclude communities and/or posts that are in a different language than our chosen default? I'm guessing filtering communities would be easier than individual posts but I'm not sure how language would be flagged. I understand some people may want to see some of these posts but even multilingual people must be bombarded with posts in languages they don't speak. I'm getting pretty annoyed that half of my feed is stuff I can't read.

I've looked through the settings multiple times but I suppose it's still possible this already exists and I just missed it.
