Master-slave connection system. You could connect 2 hdd back then using one ide cable. Role of disk was determined by choosing proper connector on a cable and a jumper position on a disk itself

Feel myself a weirdo, because of the fact that windows 8 was my favorite windows version, and GNOME 3.38 is still my favorite DE, even though I'm on GNOME 43 right now.
