Well, to be fair, Mike Brady was a hot-shot architect and he had 6 kids sharing one bathroom. Maybe OP would be better off with stable diffusion.

I think in the early days it was because most here were left-leaning or libertarians, but now that the general public is starting to move in, it's more neutral/slightly negative.

OMG, same here. I got tired of buying a new inkjet every 2 years or so. I bought a Brother laser all-in-one 4 yrs ago and haven't looked back. My only regret was not spending the extra bucks to get a color model.

Ahh, I get that reference. I fell asleep when I tried to watch the actual movie. Thanks.

I don't get it, but I'm upvoting.

Yup, just the cheap antenna that came with the TV stick. But it did work with cable before Time Warner / Spectrum switched to cable boxes.

Ok that pisses me off.

I guess I'm just a cynic, but I assumed this was in reference to a politician who recently received a golf simulator from a campaign donor. He didn't disclose it in accordance with state law concerning gifts over $100, but I'm sure he meant to but forgot.

Or it would just be a random post.

When I was growing up, back in the Paleozoic era, I'm pretty sure it was illegal to have a red light on the front, white light on the back(except for backup lights), and blue or green were illegal anywhere on a vehicle. But all that seems to have gone out the window since then.

Of course any vehicle that's been modified to produce excess smoke violates federal (EPA) and possibly local law, but we see how well that's enforced.

I think these numbers are inflated, but the problem is still pretty bad.

Part of the problem is we have some politicians here that thrive on uneducated voters. Uneducated voters also tend to be more racist, and racists are a really reliable voting block if you speak their language. Also, they tend to believe "news" that corresponds with what they already believe, so social media and telemarketing works really well on them. Abortion and contraception bans increase the number of children born into poverty, who won't get a decent education and will rely on what they learn from their parents or TV.

So education funding rarely gets increased.

A friend of mine lives in the J.B. White building in Augusta, GA. It's the old headquarters / warehouse of the department store chain, but it's been subdivided and made into studio apartments. They're pretty nice.

Meanwhile where I live, in a city of only 100,000 people, we have 5 full sized shopping malls and 3 of them are dead or dying. Out of the 2 that survive, one of them is a shopping/living space like you described.

Running Kubuntu 23.04 and a custom version of Neofetch.

Lemmy doesn't seem to allow uploading them natively, and it's hard to create a Mustangs Crashing or Idiots in Cars channel without an easy way to attach video.

My favorite 'Mads' from MST3K, Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank

For those unaware, THEC64 (yes, I think it has to be spelled that way for legal reasons) is a replica of the Commodore 64 home computer released a few years ago. Under the hood is an ARM based single board computer that's roughly equal to a Raspberry Pi Zero.

The nice folks at thec64community.online have gotten it to boot into Debian Jesse. So of course, the next logical step was to install Neofetch.
