I'm pretty sure my own skin could deflect it at that point.

No mention of "thug", "gangster", or any other racially-motivated descriptor, either.

Definitely a white dude.

Syncthing never had an official Android app, and the current iteration, Syncthing-Fork, is updated quite frequently.

I try to stay away from the play store at this point. Even Tasker is sourced from the dev himself (license is like $4, absolutely worth it), and is more capable than the play store version.

All I needed to know.

Hang these fucking traitors.

Not if you get a laptop that supports battery charge limiting. Like a Thinkpad.

Glad you figured it out, but I'm really not liking this trend of "just search for it" in settings. Settings should be organized in a way that makes sense for the user.

Guys.

Learn the saying: "A grand jury would indict a ham sandwich"

There is good reason to believe that they could be going through with it to set precedent that a judge cannot be arrested for following due process.

Edit: also, a "grand" jury is not some bigshot court thing; it has nothing to do with having more authority than a trial jury. Instead, it's called such in the context of size - a grand jury usually has 16+ members as opposed to the typical 6-12 members of a trial jury.

So, blatant inaccuracies aside, this doesn't change the fact that he quite literally did speak up about it, well before your toddler-esque "if he doesn't say exactly this then he's against us" rant.

The fact that he said something to begin with is already a step in the right direction. What you're asking is unrealistic.

If you actually cared about journalists you would be speaking up already, coward.

Is this not literally what he did though?

Pope Leo XIV on Monday called for the release of imprisoned journalists

Dude... Their doctrine is all over the place haha. Like, everyone knew that the garments were all about "modestly", and yet with the recent release of tank-top style women's garment tops, they're all claiming that "it was never about modesty teehee". Fucking gaslighting bullshit. Same with rated R movies. Some leader somewhere stated that members shouldn't watch rated R movies, and somehow everyone took it as literal gospel, despite it not being written anywhere.

I'm so fucking glad I'm out of that goddamn cult.

I'm in the process of getting my Home Assistant environment up and running, and decided to run a test: it turns out that my gaming PC (custom 5800X3D/7900XTX build) uses more power just sitting idle, than both of my storage freezers combined.

Background: In addition to some other things, I bought two "Eightree" brand Zigbee-compatible plugs to see how they fare. One is monitoring the power usage of both freezers on a power strip (don't worry, it's a heavy duty strip meant for this), and the other is measuring the usage of my entire desktop setup (including monitors and the HA server itself, a Lenovo M710q).

After monitoring these for a couple days, I decided that I will shut off my PC unless I'm actively using it. It's not a server, but it does have WOL capability, so if I absolutely need to get into it remotely, it won't be an issue.

Pretty fascinating stuff, and now my wife is completely on board as well; she wants to put a plug on her iMac to see what it draws, as she uses it to hold her cross-stitch files and other things.
