Annoyingly there are still some good threads related to questions I've asked etc.

After that first hellish onslaught on the beach everything seems massively downscaled in terms of stress so they are just super chill all the time, as we know from Crush & Squirt in Finding Nemo, therefore low-stress becomes a longer life.

I can't speak for Flatpak as I haven't tried it but nixpkgs are beautiful to work with and configuration of my system has become completely reproducible in a clean format.

Ecosia is pretty sweet if you fancy helping the planet. It's also privacy conscious as in does not sell or store any personally identifiable information. They also anonymize search data.

important to note that Ecosia does collect some non-personal information, such as search terms and click data, to improve search results and analyze usage patterns.

I was going to ask if you'd checked if the windows boot drive shows as an option in the BIOS setup but you already wiped it.

Hope you backed up beforehand.

I tried it out for the first time, the other day. The defaults are so good that you could get away with not configuring it at all!

Unless you want theme customisations and you have particular donkeys and workflows obviously.
