But about:config does work on the Iceraven fork. So if they implement it on android there'll be a fix.
You install it from here https://github.com/fork-maintainers/iceraven-browser/releases. Look for the readme file. Straightforward but you have to check for updates every so often. It also has a wider range of plugins, my initial reason for switching.

What about the Android version? I don't think the method works for that

'America' is the Eurocentric name of the double continent (aka Abya Yala), not the imperium. I always use 'USAmericans' for clarity.
