So, so, so glad I deleted my entire account. This is so unethical.
My father is accepting, but in a very stoic “never mention it ever again” sort of way. Short (but heartfelt) written notes in cards at holidays and 2-3 minute calls on the weekend tell me he loves me, but our relationship became noticeably more strained after I came out and changed my name.
Really putting evil front and center this time, huh.
It’s nice when it doesn’t feel like shoring into a void, right?
I can’t imagine the horror of dying or losing a loved one this way. May all their memories be blessings for their families.
