I’ve found in my experience that texting android folks from my iPhone usually ends up with some sort of text delivery issue. Which can be both iPhone and androids fault by not playing nice with one another, most likely Apple being elitist fuckers BECAUSE of the blue/green bubble superiority war

Agreed! It’s like…. You know we’re emailing other people too right? Not everyone is a delicate fucking flower that needs to be coddled. Yes there are better ways to word stuff, but typing as a medium often just leaves too much up to interpretation. A difficult conversation should be discussed on a call.

To ensure privacy, I run my own Gitea server with a custom domain SSL’d & private repo I sync back and fourth. This allows me to control where my notes are stored behind two work computers who are stupidly behind two full tunnel VPNs so I can’t access my own servers on my LAN.
